This Morning Routine Will Improve Your Mood

And brighten your whole day.

There’s nothing better than Ayurvedic morning routine to start the day off right. After all, we know that how we begin our day impacts how we feel all day long. Try these tips to boost your mood and energy:

Wake Up Early: Rise with the sun for a fresh start to your day. In Ayurveda, the early morning hours are known as "Brahma Muhurta," or the time of the gods. This sacred window of time, approximately 1.5 hours before sunrise, is considered ideal for spiritual practices and setting intentions for the day ahead. Try waking up with the sun, allowing its gentle rays to awaken your senses and infuse you with energy and vitality.

Your First Thoughts: As you awaken, allow yourself to surface gently. Take a few deep breaths and whisper your thanks for a new day on a beautiful world. Take a moment to mentally plan a positive day ahead, setting your intentions. Intentions are like seeds we plant in the fertile soil of our consciousness. Setting an intention is a conscious act of directing our energy and focus toward a desired goal or outcome.

Give Yourself a Massage: Before your shower or bath, enjoy a self-massage with warm oil to relax and rejuvenate your body. When our body feels loved, our mind feels calm.

Eat a Nourishing Breakfast: Choose foods that are nutritious, and easy to digest to fuel your day. Breakfast is a crucial aspect of maintaining balance and promoting overall well-being. In essence, breakfast in Ayurveda is not just about filling the stomach; it's about nourishing the body, soothing the mind, and supporting overall health and vitality.

By honouring each new morning, we lay a foundation for a day filled with energy, clarity, and well-being.
